Passionate with learning and teaching personality in a Malaysian LLC (Local Large Corporation) with a combined 20 years of working experience in the electronics industry. His experience includes sales, market expansion, product development and marketing begins in Penang for the Malaysian market, then expatriated to Shanghai for China Market for 7 years and later back to Penang to head the Asia Pacific business expansion for Vitrox 6 years ago. With the passion of industry 4.0 development that began with internal inspection analytics in Vitrox, he is tasked to expand and share V-ONE an in-house developed i4.0 digital dashboard and A.I. analytics open platform to local and MNC companies in the E&E and other sectors. He graduated with honours in Engineering degree from the UK and desires to challenge himself and his team for improvements from the status quo.

Dato’ Heng Huck Lee

Dato’ Heng Huck Lee, aged 63, is a Non-Independent Executive Director of GTB. He is the CEO of Globetronics Technology Bhd. (GTB), a 100% Malaysian company listed in Bursa Malaysia since 1997.

Dato’ Heng graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) majoring in Computer / Electronic Technology from University Sains Malaysia (USM) in 1982. He also obtained a Master in Business Administration from East Asia University in 1991.

His past working experience includes a 10 years operations / management position with Intel Technology Sdn Bhd, currently the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer. He also has more than 5 years working experience as a Group General Manager with Shinca Sdn Bhd, an Original Equipment Manufacturer / subcontract manufacturer for a wide range of electronics and computer products from 1991 to 1997

Dato’ Heng was the President of Frepenca (The Free Industrial Zone, Penang, Companies Association) from 2011 to 2015.

Dato’ Heng is also a committee member of Malaysian Investment Development Authority’s (“MIDA”) Electronics & Electrical (“E&E”) Strategic Council, Frepenca, Penang Strategic Investment Advisory Council (“PSIAC”) and University Tunku Abdul Rahman (“UTAR”) Industrial Advisor, Faculty of Business and Finance.

Attended M2M wave conference in Shanghai and Shenzhen for industrial IOT solutions and had speak on various implementation and application for IOT solution. Presented on the Cellular 101 application at Singapore Regional Industrial Networking Conference on M2M solution. Management committee members of the IOT Asia exhibition and Conference since 2015 – 2020. International Advisory Members of Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific (ITAP) 2019-2020.

Presented on a forum during Computex Taipei 2019 in the Singapore-Taiwan Cooperation Forum: "Toward Smart ++ Era: the Cooperation & Opportunities within ASEAN"

For the past 20 years had work with MNC control designers and systems integrators in providing embedded platform and gateways for various smart factory shop floor solutions, intelligent transport information systems and Industrial IOT applications.

Experience in the implementation of embedded platform and data-acquisition solutions within various semiconductor manufacturing factories and Wafer fabrication factories in Singapore.
